Bambale von den Funken was born on 14 July 2010 in Schildow, Germany to the Von Den Funken Boxer kennel - www.boxer-von-den-funken.de

It was a long wait to get Bambule as he was over 3 months when we started the importation process and thus he needed to stay in Germany for at least a month after getting his Rabies injection, which prolonged his arrival in South Africa. He finally arrived in South Africa on 24 November 2010 to much excitement and anticipation. He took to the family immediately and settled in with the rest of the clan with ease. Nowadays, whenever you are looking for him you can be sure to find him running around and playing either outside or inside with Isis, Omega and Aileen. The only time he is quiet is when he is taking a power nap to recharge his batteries or at night when he is sleeping. He has a wonderful temperament, is extremely mischievous and curious, and has brought us immense joy, laughter and love in the short time that he has been with us. He truly is part of the family.

We look forward to Bambule’s entry into the Show ring early this year and know that he will make us proud. He has already started with man work and obedience training and appears to be a natural. All we can say is “Watch this space!”
